Yvonne Egdamin, CPA, Shareholder
Accounting from Hawaii Community College she went on to get her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Hilo and then her Certified Public Accountant License.
Her love of the profession is what made her strive to be in the position that she is now with her own firm. Her path here also allowed her the opportunity to teach some accounting courses at the community college. Her advice to students in the accounting field is “if you don’t love it, don’t do it.”

Randy Hu, CPA, Shareholder
Randy was born and raised in Hilo and graduated from Waiakea High School. He went on to college and graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa where he earned a degree in Business Administration and Accounting.
He received his CPA license while working on Oahu and has been a CPA for over 25 years. He brings experience in accounting, tax, and auditing.
His experience expands to other industries including, medical, banking, non-profits and for profit entities. Randy has worked with many individuals and companies to help achieve their financial goals.

Christopher Hu, CPA, Firm Manager
Christopher graduated from Linfield College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is passionate about helping our clients improve their bookkeeping and tax processes to save them time and energy!
He serves his clients through bookkeeping and business tax returns services.
When Christopher is not working, he enjoys swimming, hiking, and traveling to new places.
He also has a background in integrating technology systems to save clients time. While working at a technology company focusing on linguistics, he managed online marketing, website design, and project management.

Kiara Bianchi, CPA*, Senior Staff Accoutant and Payroll Team Manager
Kiara graduated from the University of Hawaii at West Oahu with a degree in Business Management. She focuses on non-profits, cleaning up accounting systems. Kiara enjoys spending time with family and exploring the outdoors when not at the office.
She also holds a Master's degree in Wildlife and Fishery Sciences.

Neva Domingo, Payroll Specialist and Staff Accoutant
Neva graduated from Hawaii Community College with an Associate in Applied Science in Accounting. She has been with the firm since June 2018. She assists in payroll preparation and bookkeeping. She is quiet, hardworking, and always ready to learn and accept new challenges.

Jan U. Kealoha-Nakano, Payroll Specialist
Jan is the firm’s payroll supervisor and has been here since November 2009. She has an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting from Hawaii Community College.
Prior to working at the firm Jan was the payroll supervisor at another firm for 7 years. Jan also has over 20 years of bookkeeping experience. She is hard working, conscientious, and pleasant.

Jared Miyamoto, Staff Accoutant
Jared was born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii. He started at Hawaii Community College, experimenting with various fields until he found his calling in accounting. From there, he graduated from Hawaii Community College with an associate's degree. Soon after, he continued his education at the University of Hawaii at Hilo to obtain a bachelor's degree in Accounting. Outside of work, he enjoys looking for new music to listen to, reading, and online gaming with friends.

Alexis Popa, Staff Accoutant
Lexi is working toward her IRS Enrolled Agent Certification. In addition, she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Financial Accounting and Business Management at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. She brings a strong foundation in accounts receivable and administrative financial processes. She contributes to the Egdamin Hu CPA team with organization, attention to detail, and a thoughtful approach to every task.
She is an active member of both HAPA (Hawaii Association of Public Accountants) and the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce, where she enjoys connecting with the local business community and expanding her professional network. Outside of the office, she enjoys taking care of her puppy.

Jamie Palik, Staff Accoutant
Hailing from Kosrae, Micronesia, Jamie brings a fresh perspective to Egdamin Hu CPA while pursuing her Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Analytics in Hilo. With her friendly demeanor and enthusiasm for learning, Jamie excels at greeting clients and assisting with office operations. When not advancing her accounting expertise, she enjoys traveling, exploring the island, and connecting with friends.

Jaylyn Rasmussen, Staff Accoutant
Jaylyn is working toward her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. She enjoys organizing complex accounting systems and managing financials. When she’s not working, she enjoys shopping, cooking, and spending time with her friends.

Kaia Mcgerity, Staff Accoutant
Kaia is in her junior year at UH Hilo pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She is focusing on building a firm foundation in accounting and business practices. Outside of work and academics, Kaia enjoys many crafts like sewing, reading, and sculpting.

Rachel Hu, Firm Administrator
Rachel was raised in Hilo and graduated from Waiakea High School. She earned a Marketing degree and a Spanish minor from the University of Portland. With experience in sales, human resources, office administration, healthcare, and insurance, she looks forward to supporting Egdamin Hu with firm administration.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her cat, Cardamom, friends, and family, going to concerts, reading, and eating delicious food.
